We provide a 2-hour session on teaching good values from the Bible to Ethnic Minority female inmates on every 3rd Friday & Sunday afternoon in Lo Wu Correctional Institution and, every 1st & 3rd Friday morning in Castle Peak Immigration Centre.
2003
We started the Prison Ministry with 4 volunteers in Chi Ma Wan Correctional Institution on Lantau Island and visited inmates every Tuesday.
2006
The ministry bloomed and we started to minister in Chi Sun Correctional Institution every 2nd & 4th Sunday of each month.
2007
Lai Chi Kok Prison became open to us visiting on the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month.
2008
We gained 5 permits for our volunteers to visit Tai Lam Prison once a month. This is the prison for inmates who are serving long-term sentences.
2010
After the opening of the Lo Wu Correctional Institution, almost all the inmates we had been serving were transferred there. We started to minister in this prison and over 30 volunteers from different churches joined together for the Prison Ministry.
